Join us at ‘The Lion King’ Fundraiser movie night to raise funds for the delivery of primary health care services in Papua New Guinea.
Cabrini Foundation and Cabrini Outreach will host a very special movie night for Disney fans on Thursday 18 July with a special screening of The Lion King, just one day after premiering at box office. With an all-star cast including Donald Glover, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, James Earl Jones and Seth Rogen, this movie is not to be missed!
Bringing together young and old for this family classic, this event will raise much needed funds to provide primary health care services in Papua New Guinea. The support will go directly to a rural health centre in Malala Village in Madang province which serves more than 20,000 people who would otherwise have very low access health care facilities and poor quality of care.
The work of Cabrini Outreach in Papua New Guinea will prioritise maternal and child health, increase immunisation coverage for preventable diseases such as measles and polio, and work towards the prevention of tropical and neglected diseases such as malaria. Our collective support will provide essential medicines to the sick, strengthen emergency referrals to the provincial hospital, and make medical equipment such as a vaccine fridge or a steriliser available to help treating patients.
Join us to enjoy an amazing film experience. Your ticket will provide you with a small drink and small popcorn on the night and the opportunity to see one of the biggest films of this year in its opening week.
