Prevent cervical cancer in Eswatini
Eswatini (formerly known as Swaziland) has one of the highest incidences of cervical cancer in the world. Undetected and untreated cervical cancer has contributed to high rates of illness, birth defects and death for women and teenage girls in Eswatini.
Up to 93% of cervical cancers are preventable.
Unfortunately, women in Eswatini do not have access to the screening and treatment options available to us in the Western world. Financial, cultural and geographical barriers contribute to very low screening rates.
But, there is hope.
Cabrini Ministries Eswatini is seeking to implement a new ‘screen and treat’ research and education program through its St Philips Clinic in Lubombo and in collaboration with the University of Milan.
Cabrini Outreach partners with Cabrini Ministries Eswatini, and we have committed to raising $70,000 to help reduce morbidity and mortality resulting from cervical cancer.
You can make a difference to the women and girls of Eswatini.
A small donation from you goes a long way towards ending preventable death and disease.
Please help us drive down the high rates of preventable cervical cancer for the women and girls of Eswatini.
